General Questions

Your branding and marketing materials are often the first point of contact with potential customers. You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression, and therefore your communication materials need to convey the right image. A design agency will produce marketing materials that will help to impress upon potential customers the professionalism of your company and the service you offer. By producing your own marketing materials you run the risk of appearing amateurish, meaning the loss of potential customers.
Sometimes customers require our services at very short notice. We can usually accommodate rush jobs depending on the size of the project and how full our production schedule is. These jobs are usually subjected to an additional charge on the flat hourly rate.
We start all projects by thoroughly discussing the details of the project with the client. From this discussion we establish the specific requirements, which we call The Brief. We believe that client input is a crucial factor to making the project a success. Once we have established the brief, we begin work on the project by researching ideas. These initial ideas are worked up into design visuals using the latest graphic/web design software. The design visuals are then forwarded onto the client for feedback. We listen carefully to client feedback, offering solutions and advice to any issues that may arise. If any alterations are required, these are made and the amended visual is resubmitted to the client. This process continues until we receive client approval.

A brand bible helps create and establish consistency for a company’s visual presence and messaging. It includes everything from colors and fonts to rules for wording, how to use imagery and what is (and is not) acceptable when communicating with customers.

It also helps establish a set of rules for communication tactics and policies that any employee should be able to read and understand clearly. This can include anything from the company name–and appropriate spelling–to tagline or elevator pitch about what the business is and what it does.

This brand guide helps a business develop a personality that it can share with the world, while getting everyone on board with a unified message.

The Final Product

Once we have received the final payment, we will supply all electronic files via our file sharing service.

For print jobs, you will also receive high resolution PDFs, which can be taken to a printer of your choice.

Unfortunately unless you use the relevant software, you will not be able to view the files or make alterations. The main software packages we use are Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Clip Paint Studio Pro.

Payment

For all projects, we require an initial payment representing fifty percent of the total fee, before we can commence work on your project. The remainder of the balance is payable upon completion of the job. For projects where the quote is over £500, we require an initial payment of one-third of the total fee, before we can commence work on your project. As the project progresses we will require payment for the second one-third at the halfway point. The remaining one-third of the balance is payable upon completion of the job.
We accept payment in the form of cash or electronic transfer.
